Summer ….

Happy Friday everyone

Hope you are having a great time this summer with your kiddos, We ourselves have just started having fun for the summer due to Daniela’s unfortunate situation of contracting a very nasty infection on her right knee, which actually happened to be Lyme disease. She is fine now ,it will take a few more weeks for her to be fully recovered from having a minor surgery on her knee ,hence she could not move for about a week and could not put weight on her leg for another week. Now she is on antibiotics for a month to totally eradicate this disease. We went through a lot of distress while Daniela was in the hospital, why do I even bother to mention it on my blog , I just simply would like parents to take some precautions; such as checking our little ones for deer ticks and such bugs every time they play outside, believe me it will save you a lot of stress and sleepless nights. It never crossed our minds (Lyme disease) that one of our children could be this sick and in so much pain but like the old saying goes, you don’t believe till you see it. It’s very aggravating to feel helpless towards your child.

So, in order to keep our cocodrillos entertained ,we went to their favorite spot to feed the ducks and have a ride on the carousel, which was very exiting for Daniela due to it being her very first time on a carousel.

Tiziano with his Hawaiian look was over the moon with it, although spending time in the sun at the play ground was tough on him (his hair is long and thick), and due to the humidity and extreme high temperatures which we have been experiencing lately. But at least he gets to style a new haircut tomorrow (it’s his first haircut ever and it’s all coming off).
