 Our neighbors decided to add a new member to their family (dog) for which all of our kiddos felt in love with. They keep gabbing about getting a puppy for our household. The name has already been chosen and  lots of plans are being made . In the meantime, I’m happy that they can play with this gorgeous puppy for now. A few times we were ask by our dear neighbors  to take care of the puppy so the kids could taste a little on how to be responsible for a dog. Daniela says that she can’t wait to have a walk with our dog and Shimshac (the neighbor’s dog). Meanwhile we are going to wait till our little ones grow up and will help with the dog. By the way the dog that we like has to be provided with lots of daily activities. This is something that we have to be aware of it!

     Now that my absolute favorite season is in full swing, FALL.It is just calling me outside with this gorgeous colors and beautiful  collage of falling leaves it makes for stunning settings. How can I restrain myself from taking pictures.My  Cocodrillos  were very excited for our annual trip to the  farm to choose the right pumpkins for carving. After creating  spooky creatures out of the  pumpkins with  daddy’s help they were too anxious to start  trick or treating. Needless to say the ‘WHEN IS HALLOWEEN ,MOM?’ question never ended. Tiziano is a huge fun of scary sounds and Halloween music, to the point that he would ask Alexa to play Halloween music, and he would pull down all the window’s shades so to create  a scary ambient to scare himself and his two sisters. And all this preparation would also scare him to the point that he can not even go to the bathroom by himself. Thanks GOD that this holiday has come to pass cause after all the candy and the cleaning up we are extremely tired and done with the sugar rush. The day after I spent all morning picking up candy’s wrappers from the front yard.

This lovely tiny creature on the pictures below is our Pellito! you might have seen him in previous posts! He is a wonderful dog that comes to visit us occasionally and belongs to our extended family members.! When Pellito  spends time with our cocodrillos is very intense, meaning that they try to train him at all cost, which in turn becomes hours and hours upon hours of running around . After a while all Pellito  wants is to go home and rest. Seeing my kids have so much fun with this dog makes me very tempted to get our own dog! But then I hear warnings from  some people telling me that getting a puppy is like having an additional child. Which in turn becomes too much work, and the fact that kids are only exited  at the beginning with a puppy brings me back to my senses. Then again maybe our kids are too young or who knows perhaps when our littlest one is older we might consider getting a dog, having cat for now seems to work perfectly. The other factor is that for example about a week ago  my sister’s lovely dog was bitten by another dog  and didn’t survive the bite. So to see the whole family  mourning the loss of a member  is too heartbreaking and that also scares me to get  a dog. Nobody likes to loose a  family member specially when its hurts so much!

Kaia: Daddy there was a boy with spots on his face.

Daddy: They are called freckles, look at me I have them on my face as well.

Kaia: It’s because you eat too much pizza.

      It has been a while since I uploaded a post. My closest friends even  started asking if  I was not  interested in blogging anymore! No, that is not unfortunately the case. I just have been really busy with this thing we call life :-). I do enjoy photography, especially when it means capturing the beautiful images of my little ones along with styling them, of course! Since the birth of my first child, I have come to appreciate photography more and it has become a part of my life and my true passion. I feel this is an amazing way of freezing the time.. Moreover, I conscientiously document my photographs as a sort of digital album, so someday, my kids can browse through these posts and reflect how fast and how much they changed. Last May, it was the third anniversary of blogging and I am so looking forward to what the future holds.

Let me just briefly explain the reason for my absence on lovecocodrillo.com – I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. This is quite a struggle for me and it has been for a few months now.  I am doing my best at defeating this monster. You might wonder why I actually bother  to mention it here? I can not stress enough how IMPORTANT it is to be aware of this disease – in order to protect yourself and to support your loved ones who experience what I have been facing. A couple of years ago I posted pictures of Daniela right after her release from the hospital due to Lyme disease, she had to have surgery because of it. On the other hand, I have being struggling with this  for eight months now. It is extremely draining to be in a constant battle with pain and not being able to keep my camera for more than a few seconds due to joint pain. It is beyond difficult telling the kids that I cant go biking with them because I am just exhausted.. I am a warrior. Therefore, I will get rid of it and will soon be Lyme-disease-free.

The pictures below were taken while on our vacation in Poland. As always – they had a blast playing with their polish cousins and friends while practicing  the language – Mommy is making sure they keep learning Because most of the time in the country they were running barefoot, now back home whenever we go shopping my kiddos tend to forget to wear their shoe wear… It forces  me to shop at stores where I can put them in a shopping cart :). Tiziano decleared clearly that he aspires to be a farmer – he advised grandpa to sow rye so he can harvest it with a combain harvester. I am curious if he is going to stick to his plans once he grows up – that would sure save us money for his college tuition

Browsing through my kids wardrobe I suddenly realized that they are growing up pretty fast.Last year I was delighted that Daniela had plenty of clothes to wear so I did not have to run in search for new garments for this season.Not the case as a matter of fact  the whole  bulk of  clothing will now go to my youngest daughter, Kaia. Beside outgrowing  all of her clothes  she is also more aware of her taste in them and therefore she is a little picky on choosing outfits, her new fashion style she is  growing  her bangs and refusing to wear glittery,ruffled dresses. She loves leggings (preferable leopard prints)and sweat shirts . Unlike my youngest Cocodrillo (Kaia) who loves girlish stuff  the more ruffles the better for her, even in different weather conditions hot or cold she still prefers  a dress along with her toys (Shopkins). I ‘m terrified to shop at Target with her because every time she sees the toy department she convinces me to buy her another set of  Shopinks ,and as you may know if you are a mother of a Shopkins lover kid,  that these are very tiny toys and you spend a lot of time picking them up from the floor so they are not swept away or vacuumed.  Besides I know that her up coming birthday party will be Shopkins themed. As for my middle Cocodrillo  (Tiziano), this boy lets me put on him any outfit I chose without any fuss for the exception  on this one  when  gorgeous mustard color  winter jacket  that I bought for him at Zara with a furry hood  boy he did not like that, he  refused to wear to  school because he believed  that they would make fun of him for wearing fur. After some convincing and taking the furry part out of hood he agreed to wear it. So, at the end of the day I related the story to his teacher and she laughed because she had complemented him on his brand new jacket but he sure did not tell her about the fur problem that he had with this jacket. He  also tends to be a story teller in school not always the truth but nothing crazy it’s always  some story regarding our family,such as our cat was sick and had a surgery,doctor had to cut his guts out, mom doesn’t love her morning coffee but daddy makes it for her anyways things like that so I was surprised that he did not have a great story for the class about his mustard color fury hood jacket.

It has been a while since I posted any pictures of my cocodrillos here. The reason is because of our annual trip to Poland . For my kiddos it was  a beautiful experience and I hope it will be a continuous event  each year. We have been back for a few weeks now and they are still talking about their friends and places we visited . Things they did, such as learning new playing games being silly and adventurous, running bare feet picking fresh veggies and fruits playing with animals and plain out laughing together about their mischiefes! For Tiziano the best experience was riding a combine ,since it  was harvesting time in the village,therefore he became  fascinated with tractors and combines being able to ride one was a quite unforgettable feeling for him. Now that everything is back to our routine, my kids are back to school  and I am a happy mom who has time for herself. Kaia took her time to get used to idea that it’s time for her to start school,after almost two week of refusing to get up and get ready for  school , she is finally come to terms to the idea that  each morning she has to get ready and go to school  along her siblings with a big smile on her face.

To God be the glory! After weeks of unstoppable rain we finally have gorgeous weather on the East coast and therefore, tons of options for outdoor activities. As far as my kids are concerned, it is quiet simple – just leave them by the lake. Water keeps them busy for hours which gives mommy some time to catch a breath. As you can see below, my cocodrillos were totally immersed in trying to find fish. I am beyond glad that the time of caterpillars is over! Forgive me but I find it pretty disgusting to touch these creatures. Until very recently, our backyard  was a place of saving caterpillars’ lives, creating them a “home-sweet-home” and feeding it with lettuce!

Also, it constantly amazes me how kids who are so close in age, like Tiziano and Daniela, have so much in common, sharing the same interest in movies (Star Wars), toys and even hanging out with the same friends. What happens is Daniela and her best friend Leila absolutely try to avoid which usually leaves him in tears. Not to mention the youngest Kaia who is all about following her sibling!

Since , to my content, Tiziano does not oppose to wear a bow, he has it for almost all of the events that we attend! As long as he is on his scooter or just playing in mud, he is FINE People asked me many times whether he ever takes it off. I always say: nope, it is like his second skin

Daniela’s fuzzy skirt is for me absolutely gorgeous. I am planning to get one in pink for the summer

Yes my friends, very soon we are going to welcome spring! Before that, however, I want Daniela to wear my absolutely favorite outwear for which I was waiting for to be put on sale. I am sure you will agree there is nothing bad with being frugal Oh, how I wish they sold these in an adult sizes! Accompanied by a sweet BOY hat from Jujubunnystore, the outfit got an accent of a naughty look (not that she far away from that description). So, next week we are definitely going to enjoy warmer weather which implies it is time to start shopping for spring collection! I literally cannot wait to dig through stores such as Zara, and check out what colors, patterns are going to be trending this coming season!

It has been a few days since we came back from our little vacation. Oh man, what a trip! Only parents of three or more know what it is like to travel with 3 little kids… Nevertheless, I still feel the warmest sun spells on my body just looking at these pictures – I still dream of the hot weather that we enjoyed in the sunny state, Florida. I remain so grateful for this getaway. I must say, fraction of me felt so lucky we were there while our friends got snowed in by the blizzard. I know the kiddos would have had so much fun playing in the snow but they did have fun at the beach and the pool. Not too bad! Once we got home, we discovered it would take us a while to get through this Antarctica (I mean from the road, through our driveway, to the front door). Now, we have to wait patiently for spring to arrive – only two months away. I do hope there will be no snowstorms again this year. Again, being stuck with 3 kids in the house is something only mommies of three or more would understand….

I could not miss out on the oportunity to take pictures of Daniela in a such beautiful scenery, in such a gorgeous dress from Tutu du monde. It is my second garment from this brand and I am beyond thrilled to see Daniela looking stunning wearing it. It is absolutely worth it to have such a fine piece in your girl’s wardrobe, for its beauty and craftsmanship, for it is from delicate and divine fabrics. I also could not ignore the shoes!  From JOYFOLIE that compliments this outfit  and girls love everything that sparkle, don’t they?
