Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving !

I do not know how about you but every year when Black Friday craziness ceases, I am anxiously waiting for Christmas. Still crazy because the entire time is filled with shopping for gifts for friends and beloved ones, however, I do love everything about it – planing how to decorate the Christmas tree, baking tons of cookies and sending Christmas cards to my entire family in Poland. This year Daniela is so grown that she has been asking how many days are left until Christmas. Therefore I bought chocolate calendars for each of my cocodrillos from which one chocolate can be excreted every day till December 24th. This way, Daniela will not ask too often and will acquire a better sense of time. Today is day number 2 and Kaia is already done with her calendar. Guess she is celebrating already..

Since it was quite warm outside recently, Daniela enjoyed her company with Pelito, and during one of their escapades she was wearing this outfit: school-like, lovely jacket that was purchased for Daniela’s cousin Klara (3 years old). It can still fit Daniela! I paired it with a pair of snickers which Daniela is absolutely in love with it. I suppose she might wear them on heavy snowy days lol.

Happy Monday everyone!!

There are days where Tiziano  is anxiously waiting for his big sis to come home  from school so they can play-fight together.It’s interesting to see their bond as  siblings and how they interact with each other and miss each other if one of them is away. Its a good feeling to know that they have each other and I don’t have to look for play dates .. Since not long ago we celebrated A National Siblings day recognized in some states. Therefore, I got inspired to take pictures of  two(at least) of my kiddos since in the last posts Daniela was mostly present.

Tiziano was wearing my latest project  harem pants,which was completed a few days ago and loved how they came out. I’m specially proud of myself, because I didn’t use any patterns , I just measured my boy from the top to the bottom and cut the fabric..not bad for not being a pro :-)). and voila ready to go to play outside.

Daniela’s top was from SMOCK mentioned a few posts before paired with organic fabric harem pants from Indikidual..

                 And now the only thing that is left to do is wait for some much more pleasurable  weather for me and my kiddos to have another photo shoot ;D

Happy Weekend Friends!

Even though I adore fall, I cannot help but wonder when snow is going to fall, making everything outside icy-kissed. I do not kow why maybe because it is getting colder outside, trees are losing their gorgeous leaves and are getting naked or maybe because Thanksgiving is around the  corner and then it is Christmas… I can nostalgically recall last year when ground was covered in a blanket of pillowy white puff, house was abundantly decorated, fire place on and scent of cinnamon lingering in our house. Pure magic. Maybe that is why…

Yesterday, Daniela and I took a stroll to a coffee shop. When there is an option for a hot chocolate, I do not need to ask her twice – shoes are on in no time!  Her favorite spot to go is Starbucks because she can get additional treat such as a cake pop. Although we make them at home and these are much, much taster, she just drags me to buy one (must be pink!). The weather was favorable so she could wear this adorable, fuzzy sweater-jacket that I purchased at J.CREW a few days ago with 20% off (lovely semi sales..). I must tell you it is really warm, made of alpaca wool and nylon – perfect for days when heavy coats are too much to wear. What is more, she feels comfortable wearing it and it does not refrain her from playing at the playground. I bought this sweater two sizes up on purpose, to get the oversized look. Then I paired it with Tiziano’s scarf and hat from Zara to achieve more casual look. As I have been into grey color recently, I am in search of a sweater in that color but I could not find one that will satisfy my taste. Therefore, I subconsciously got one for my daughter (lol).

Trying to get away from the crowd at our house watching the final of soccer World Cup and to cool down, the crocodrillos and I rushed to the recreation center.

I hardly could take any pictures as, in their minds, they were in the pool before I started the car engine…

Comfort, again, was my priority on that day. Let be honest here moms and dads – when it is 95F outside the last thing kiddos want is a fancy dress that ‘does not the air in’, or uncomfortable vest which limits their moves. And that was my task – to combine outfit both comfy and stylish

As far as Daniela is concerned, let me start with drawbacks in order to end my conclusions positively :-). Her least favorite part of the outfit were shoes – they kept falling off, she kept tripping – not a best choice for a 4-year old I must say. The entire rest was a great option – shorts and cotton top = a recipe for comfort

Tiziano was happy with his clothes as well. To my amazement, he did not take the hat even once… Most likely euphoria took over and he forgot about it

 I was watching them and sighed thinking they are growing up way too fast… Last year Tiziano was horrified to the thought of staying in the pool by himself and now he paddles in water pretending he is a shark. Daniela swims and dives all by herself. So proud! And just like that, when the World Cup game was on and the world was gathered up in front of tv screens, we had a blissful, relaxing and priceless afternoon.

Here, slightly more casual but also stylish look that my Love definitely rocks. Comfort is usually a priority as far as dressing Kaia is concerned and this outfit, in my opinion, is trendy, cute as well as comfortable. These camo shorts seem to be a great alternative! Needless to say, denim jacket never lets me down… The hat and shoes definitely complete the entire look which goes to the list of my favorite ones.
