Brrr!!! it’s chilly over here( 13C), i guess this is my last post from lovely Poland..One week left.I wasn’t ready for this temperatures, are those warm and sunny days coming back???. I don’t think so..The crop harvesting time is over, our beloved storks left their nests to migrate for winter in Africa. Grandma just finished preserving cucumbers ,one of the most eaten vegetable in Poland during the winter. Therefore, there are plenty of signs that we have to get ready to welcome fall soon..I got a feeling that Daniela and Tiziano will miss their stay in Poland the most. Days, where they were playing countless hours with their’s cousins and neighbor’s children, being able to spend whole days running barefoot, getting fresh apples straight from the tree, interact with animals and many more things that one can do in the country side. The kids have heard wonders of country living when we read them books and watch movies but now they have experienced it firsthand. Most importantly, they have both improved their polish language significantly and by spending all their time outdoors, they have hardly watched TV,.What a relieve!! Also, Daniela learned how to pick raspberries to sell, so that she can buy ice cream and crayons.Kaia instead, learned how to eat them straignt from the bush-))
While here, i got a chance to purchase a few goodies on sale for my kids, made in Poland and designed by polish artists. I hope i will test them, if the weather alows me back home. They are made with high quality fabrics and most of the brands have an international shipping. One of my favorite is here. Stay tuned!!
